Medical Weight Loss and Hormone Therapy in Denver

We’re a nurse practitioner led practice treating weight as what it is, a medical condition with causes worth finding. Most people who come to us have tried the obvious things already. What they haven’t had is someone look at their labs, their hormones and their history and build a plan around what’s actually driving it.

We see Denver patients at our office on Corona Street and by telehealth across Colorado.

Semaglutide & Tirzepatide Weight Loss Injections in Denver

These are the two GLP-1 medications we prescribe most. They work differently and people respond differently to each, so the real question isn’t whether you want one, it’s which one fits your situation and what your insurance will approve.

They’re not right for everyone, and we’ll say so if we don’t think one is right for you. When they are a fit, what you get here is:

  • Labs and a real evaluation before anything is prescribed
  • Dose titration managed by your provider, adjusted to how you actually respond
  • Straight answers about side effects, what’s expected and what isn’t
  • Protein and nutrition guidance, because losing muscle alongside fat is what people regret later
  • A plan for what happens when you taper or stop

Most GLP-1 services are a questionnaire, a prescription and a subscription. If you have a problem at week six, you’re messaging a queue. That’s the difference.

Testosterone & Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Denver

Hormones affect weight, energy, sleep, mood and body composition, and they’re the piece most weight programs skip entirely.

For women, if you’re in perimenopause and the things that used to work stopped working, that’s real and it’s treatable. Our NP Heidi Harris is Menopause Society Certified, so menopause and perimenopause care here is a specialty rather than something we tack on.

For men, low testosterone affects body composition and how you respond to weight treatment. We test, we treat, and we follow up with real lab monitoring instead of a one-time prescription.

Sometimes hormone therapy is the answer on its own. Sometimes it runs alongside a GLP-1. We’ll tell you which we think it is after we see your labs.

Our Denver Medical Weight Loss & HRT Services

Here’s how it actually goes:

  1. We talk through your history, what you’ve tried, and what you’re hoping for.
  2. We run labs and look at what’s going on metabolically before deciding on treatment.
  3. We check your insurance and tell you what it covers and what it’ll cost you, before you commit to anything.
  4. You start, and we adjust as we learn how you respond.

Denver patients can be seen in person at 387 Corona St, Suite 1116. Everything else is telehealth, which means you’re not driving across town for a fifteen minute visit. We also treat patients throughout Colorado, Utah and Florida.

On insurance: we’re in network with Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna and First Health, with Humana, Rocky Mountain Health Plans, Tricare West and MultiPlan / PHCS in credentialing. We handle prior authorizations and appeals ourselves. See what your plan covers.

Personalized Care for Your Next Steps

If you want to talk through whether this is a fit, book a free consult, or call or text us at (720) 340-8154.

We’d rather tell you honestly whether we can help than put you on something that isn’t right for you.

Frequently Asked Questions About Medical Weight Loss in Denver

Is semaglutide or tirzepatide available in Denver?

Yes. We prescribe and manage both for Denver patients. Which one we recommend depends on your labs, your history, your other conditions and what your plan will approve. We go through that with you before anything is written.

Do I need to visit the Denver office in person?

No. Visits are telehealth and most patients never come in. If you’d rather be seen in person, our Denver office is at 387 Corona St, Suite 1116, by appointment.

Can a GLP-1 provider in Denver help with side effects and long-term maintenance?

That’s most of the job. Nausea, dose timing, what to eat, when something warrants a change. And maintenance is the part that gets skipped elsewhere. We plan for the taper and what comes after it from the start, because that’s where people lose the progress.

How do pricing and insurance verification work?

We run a free coverage check before you commit to anything. We find out whether your plan covers the visit, whether it covers the medication, and what it would cost you. If insurance won’t cover the medication, we’ll tell you the self-pay number so you’re deciding with real figures. No surprise billing.
